My sister Jessica and her husband Nate were able to visit us this summer and we all went to the Wild Animal Park. (Austin wasn't able to go because of Cub Scout Camp) We had a lot of fun hiking up all of the hills and through winding paths.
The two weeks leading up to this trip I had explained to Gavin that we would be going to the Zoo and would see all sorts of animals. He focused primarily on seeing Penguins and Bears - two animals that aren't at the Wild Animal Park. I thought that he would forget by the time we got there. We saw just about every animal there but, to his dismay, no penguins or bears. Aunt Goki (Jessica's nickname from Austin when he was a baby) bought a stuffed bear for Gavin from the Souvenir shop. He ironically named it "free".
