The Happiest Place on Earth...
Here we are at Disneyland for Austin's Birthday. Tim's mom and my mom got to go with us too. We were there all day (9am-6pm) and were quite exhausted by the end, but we had fun. Gavin and Layla had never been before, so it was fun to see how they would react to the life sized characters, rides and fantasy of it all. The loved it - despite Gavin's refusal to look at the camera in this picture. Gavin was very scared in the beginning of every ride that we went on, but by the end of the day he was able to muster up the courage to go on even The Haunted Mansion. Gavin's favorite was The Buzz Lightyear ride, Austin's was Tom Sawyer's Island, and Layla's was Dumbo. It was nice to have both Grandma's there to help out so that Tim and I could take Austin onto the bigger kid rides while they watched the little ones.

HOw fun. The pics make me smile. I can just imagine Gavin being all dramatic about the rides. They look so cute in their hats. Let us know how California Adventure goes. We had fun, too bad we couldn't have gone together.
i wish i was with you guys!!! Layla and gavin are so cute in there hats. Maybe next time I come down to visit we will go together!! love ya.
